Midnight 7s' mayhem!

 

Thank you, Girls, for the birthday surprise.
:D Cakes, Pizza & sending Abang off for his flight was fun.

One sweet moment, my boyfriend's father bought for my family Nasi Briyani all the way from little India and send it to us. Omg, I was so happy especially when I get to eat it after training last Sunday. I'm like touched.

I so miss training for Blacks RFC with Fionna, Aminah, Aishah, An, Kuhhsi, Diana, Vanessa, Kai Wei, Emily, Ester, Nurul, Lilian, Chu Hong :(
Midnight7s was a great Mayhem.
Like superb dose of contact rugby from all over Asia :D
The event was held on the 29th & 30th of Aug.
Blacks RFC(Blacks babies) won Plate runner-up.

The drama part to this whole event was on the second day.
Well I don't know where to start actually.
I was in RP touch not too long ago.
During one of the training, I heard Ju one of my senior telling my coach, Boo that my dumps was not good.
Well I heard her well, it was like a complain for crying out loud.
I mean I don't know what's her deal with me but if I had to defend myself, that dumped I did, was on my left hand(it is always awkward)
And like during one of the physical training, when I ran passed Su & Ju who was so quiet up until I ran passed them, they laughed out loud.
And like after so long during a particular training, I was the first junior to be asked to pick the balls and keep it.
About the pol-ite match, I'm over it please.
I came to realize that 2 years of experience was somehow not enough.

On the second day itself, Blacks RFC was against RP Ping(RP seniors)
The thing about rugby is when there's ruck then defenders cannot shoot up and defend.
The thing is there was no ruck hence i shoot up to defend Siti it is definitely allowed I'm not even offside.
Come to think of it again, the reason why she couldn't get the ball was only because she was not deep enough.
I was right! I'm not in wrong.
And because of that moment, she shouted sial at me.
And told the whole string of my seniors, D, su & some girl and they aimed me like nobody's business.
I got cracked up.
Thank you Eunice, Chong Fu & of course Blacks Babies for the comfort you gave to me.

'The Match' that was like the highlight of the moment was when Blacks Women was against Thai Barbarians.
All this while I knew Derelyn(my SRJC coach) could run but I never knew it was that maginificent speed. OMG.
She scored 2 tries, I must be lucky to be coached by her. OMG.
They played for CUP finals 'THE MATCH' to fight for.
And for them to come second to the Thai despite being the organizer for the Midnight7s made them a sure winner.
The way they played made me realized that I'm so far away from being as good as them.
I need to be better.
I'm so ready to train and pump my legs and be as good as Derelyn, she is like FLASH!

I loved it.
